Then comes the most rewarding period of a man's life --- when you become grandparents. It’s the best relationship you can be in! You can spoil the tiny tots without any reservations whatsoever, even if you have to face the wrath of their parents, who are bent on disciplining them. And the sons, too, know that they can hide behind your back and escape the scolding of their parents. They know that you can protect them from their parents.
However, don't spoil them too much...you may save them temporarily, but lessons must be learned. No one knows that better than you, after having spent a lifetime in trying to help your own sons grow up into good citizens and good human beings. But the cuties need to be indulged and who could be better at doing that than a doting grandparent?
Grandparents are there to unfold a whole world of wonder in front of a son's eyes, to enlighten them of the fact that their parents were also little ones like them once upon a time. In the process they themselves relive their youth days once again; the company of the little ones make them feel rejuvenated and they forget their anxieties, even if temporarily.
